I must ask all users of this site not to make permanent copies of my sound files on their systems. The reason is that most of this material is still under copyright protection. My ASCAP license specifically prohibits me from distributing permanent copies of the records that I keep on this web page.
Tips for the impatient: The sound file for an entire record is large (from 550 to 850 Kb). I have included a short clip of each record so you can preview the record without having to wait for the whole file. You might want to listen to the clip first, especially if you are using dial-up. Also, you might want to start one of the downloads while you are doing other work - you can continue to use your web browser for other things while waiting for a download to complete. Finally, if you decide you're tired of waiting and cancel a download, you can still listen to the partial file.
MPEG and RealMedia Audio Players
All of the sound files for this site are in MPEG audio format. You may need to get some software to play these files. Look here if you do not already have an MPEG audio player.
