I ran into this group of musicians on Royal Street. I've heard of
washboard bands, but one of them was playing a cheese grater!

I didn't get to meet the people who are on this trip. It struck me
that they were very
trusting to leave their belongings unguarded in the middle of the
street.

This sign was on a boarded-up house in the Fauxborg Marigny
neighborhood (east of Esplanade Avenue). There are times when
I wish I had such a certificate.

This old ad is next to the fire station in the French Quarter,
on Decatur Street near House of Blues and Louisiana Music Factory.
