Lakeview - Part 3



This park runs along the length of Fleur De Lis Street.










This is one of the few houses I saw that looked like it hadn't been worked on at all.



Even empty lots have to be maintained.







Someone used this statue of a dog to personalize what's left of their property. Maybe this dog used to occupy a spot on a knick-knack shelf in the home that used to be here.



I saw a few of these signs around the Lakeview neighborhood. I don't know what the story is. The Army Corps of Engineers is responsible to building and maintaining the floodwalls in New Orleans. My guess is that there's a plan to condemn some property under eminent domain, but I don't know why the Corps would be involved with that.
